Why do actresses like Sunny Leone find it hard to become
mainstream Bollywood actresses after coming from an adult industry? Or should I
say, we find it difficult to accept her in that way after seeing her past? There
have been instances in the past when some specific actors/actresses have
refused to work with her.
Some of the prominent names include Salman Khan, Aamir Khan
and Shah Rukh Khan with whom Sunny wishes to work. The Khan trio is regarded as
the highest in the industry for their sheer on screen performance. But then
Sunny is also showing her acting side in Bollywood isn’t it?
After making her first appearance on the Indian TV show Bigg
Boss, there has been no looking back for Sunny. Well, she might have got offers
initially in the Hindi film industry just to grab some eyeballs, but then she
is a real pro who wants to make her name as an established actress.
After Bigg Boss, she was seen in films like Jism 2, Jackpot
followed by Ragini MMS 2. Pink lips, Laila and Baby doll are her recent item
numbers that were instant hits.
And now her upcoming films are Ek Paheli Leela along with Kuch
Kuch Locha Hai. As far as Ek Paheli Leela is concerned, the director of the
film said that some big names in the industry have refused to work with the former
porn star. However, as far as Sunny is concerned, she said that she doesn’t
mind those things and keeps focusing on her job.
Really, shouldn’t we appreciate someone like Sunny Leone for
her struggle to become a mainstream Bollywood actress irrespective of her past
and who are refusing to work with her? She is indeed a brave girl.
