My Thoughts In My Words

OMG! What a Twist to the Tale!

It was a dark night. Black clouds carrying ample water had started to gather in the sky. It looked like it would start raining any moment. Rakesh was all alone on the streets heading towards his home. It was not easy to travel alone when the atmosphere was threatening.
Clouds bumped into each other to make thunderous noise. It was enough to take the life out of someone. Lightening showed flashes and the authority of danger it posed. Rakesh was still more than five kilometers away from his home. Though he was on his bike, he was driving steadily as it started raining. He knew it would not take more than a few minutes before it starts to rain cats and dogs. After all he was accustomed to the weather conditions.
His fears came true. The drizzle bubbled into steady showers. Rakesh wanted to reach home faster as it was the only safe place in the world for him. But what was that? His bike started to hiccup. Looked like the machine was taking a bath in the rains, which was enough to bring sweat on his forehead in the heavy rains accompanied by cold weather.
As a filmy scene would show it, Rakesh realized something moving from a few meters from him. It was a strange figure that he had never seen before. By this time, it was pitch dark and his bike also gave way. He was completely drenched in the heavy rains. It could have been anybody and anything which could harm him.
He took a few steps away from where he was standing and tried to gauge what that thing was. However there was no way he could make it out. His curiosity got the better of his fear. Gathering courage, he moved in the direction of that unknown and interesting thing. However as he took a few steps, that thing moved a bit, but away from Rakesh.
He thought that it feared him. He automatically gathered more courage and confidently started walking in that direction. However, he wasn’t fast enough and there was no sound after that. A flash of lightening was enough for Rakesh to view a drenched road that was entirely deserted. It looked as if the strange thing suddenly vanished into thin air.
There was no hiding place around the path too. And the absence of that strange thing suddenly sent down shivers down Rakesh’s body. He looked around trying his best to find what moved around. Rakesh took out his mobile and turned on its battery in a desperate attempt to make sure he was safe on that lonely way that seemed to be heading nowhere.
He finally saw a figure that resembled a mongoose. It had a pair of long ears and long strands of hair all over its body. Its eyes were flashing in the darkness all around. That animal was making terrible faces at Rakesh and making strange noise, which was enough to get Rakesh goose bumps all over his body.
Taking three-four huge steps that mongoose-like animal leaped towards Rakesh….
Common now, friends. You have read enough of the story. We (and even I) have had enough of this. Now, be a Good Samaritan and transfer 200 bucks in my bank account. (I hope I entertained you [which I know I haven’t]).
Move on mates, the story’s over (hahahaha)!!!

Who needs your 200 bucks mate, when I get such lovely comments from friends like you. And yes, this story wasn't at all a story. When I started writing it, all I thought was ending it that way only.
